At Funky Frog Studios, we're more than just sound engineers--we're musicians too! That means we get the recording process from both sides of the glass. We don't just press buttons and move faders; we can read charts, drop markers on the fly, and map out verses and bar numbers, so you can punch-in and over-dub without any wild goose chases. This keeps sessions flowing smoothly, so you spend less time searching and more time creating. Because we listen like musicians, our priority is making sure the music moves you. We mix and track with feel first, gear second. (Don't worry, we've got killer gear too.)

Speaking of which... Our primary recording implement is Pro Tools, featuring the new SSL Pure Drive Quad 4-Channel Microphone Preamp, the Warm Audio WA73-EQ Preamp & EQ and the Allen & Heath SQ-5 48-channel Digital Mixer-- because great sound starts at the source. Our expertly tuned control room gives you precision listening, so what you hear is exactly what's happening.
Need room to the let the whole band rip? We've got you covered! Our spacious 790 square-foot tracking room is big enough for full-band, live recording while still allowing enough isolation for clean overdubs and punch-ins. Our space features an isolated booth along with multiple inviting spaces to plug-in and jam out, and of course no space would be complete without a lounge area where you can unplug and unwind between sessions.
Keeping it Smooth & Mixing that Hits Hard
We've also got a multi-channel headphone cue system, so musicians can build their own headphone mixes while tracking--because nobody wants to be stuck listening to the drummer's cowbell louder than everything else. We keep things efficient, transparent, and focused on the music, so you can do what you do best--create.
